The app will find the next observation window when there is both astronomical darkness (sun is 18 degrees below the horizon) and the moon is below the horizon.
The Messier objects that are visible in the sky (15 degrees above the horizon) during that time and from your location are listed.
Finally, by tapping a Messier object you can see where it appears in the sky.
